US deaths will surpass 10,000 by Tuesday!

Hello again,

Last week the AMA (American Medical Association) put out a short statement in support of physicians' right to advocate for their patients. They acknowledged that patients' welfare is the 'first priority in any given situation'. This was in response to some clinician's saying they are being muzzled (not allowed to tell the truth about how things are).

After this, the president of the American College of Physicians Robert McClean said and I quote: "During an uncertain and unprecedented moment like this, threatening the livelihood of frontline healthcare workers hardly seems like the best way to boost morale and improve patient outcomes."
I agree, professionals are being discouraged to speak out when what we need is more
truth and transparency.
I am happy to report my job is not in jeopardy and I don't ask anyone's permission to educate my patients!

This brings me to the point of this email. Education is prevention and prevention is better than cure. In fact it is ALL we have right now. There is no place to run to, you have to stay where you are and grapple with the idea that you HAVE to do what you are being asked to do to save yours and other lives.
Make no mistake about it, it is completely up to you whether or not you contract the virus.Whether you survive or not, that's another story.

We had 10,000 needless deaths in the past 30 days, just wrap your mind around that for a minute. 10,000 people are no longer alive without a single shot being fired! 10,000 deaths that could have been prevented, my heart aches for their families.
It is bad enough to lose a loved one but so much worse to know it was not necessary.

Isn't it amazing how simple it is to prevent getting the virus, yet so many people refuse to understand the consequences of their actions?
What is the term? Deceptively simple. Yes, that's it. It is so simple we don't do it and so people die. If there was a daily pill to take or even a shot folks would line up.

The projections for us in Maryland is that the pandemic will hit its peak around April15.
Please be proactive before more people die. Spread the word and watch my short video as a reminder here: https://youtu.be/HYnmvIcFdug

We WILL get through this if we all work as a team. I really look forward to seeing you all on the other side. Meanwhile please do your absolute best. Thank you

Thanks in advance for your time. And as always, thanks for being a loyal patient. Your health is my success.

Tomorrow I will write about the "Futility of Care" strategy that some medical institutions have to institute to handle Covid patients
Stay home and be well.

Sincerely,

Dr. Nadu Tuakli
