REST IN PEACE TINA TURNER THE ULTIMATE DIVA

I heard sad and disappointing news, especially for me a life long fan, Tina Turner died today. May her spirit rest in peace. It is always personal and painful for me when someone dies of preventable causes. Tina Turner was my icon of anti-aging. I went to her farewell tour that she did at 64 years of age, she was magnificent! She was ahead of her time and used so many anti-aging modalities, she used to go to fancy 'forever young' Swiss clinics for stem cells, she was in great shape but........she had hypertension, yep! basic high blood pressure. How do you have that much money and you can't 'buy' a doctor who will tell you the cold facts, it is beyond me. High blood pressure will kill you but people only pay attention if they have an exotic problem, I guess. Hypertension caused Ms. Turner to have a stroke and later on her kidneys failed as a result of the hypertension. Totally preventable especially since she knew both her aunt and mother had had the same problem. She had to have a kidney transplant because of this. After this she was found to have 'intestinal cancer' I'm not sure what is meant by that but yes, that too could have been prevented. It was probably found after she was checked out for her stroke. She should have been more of a Diva like: "I'm sorry I am a big star, I want my anti-aging doctor to screen me down to the minutia on the regular!" I'm sure she didn't have Medicare! Please remember this: things can be picked up early before they become deadly. Yes, even if visiting the doctor is inconvenient. One patient I saw went home and told his wife who had insisted he come and see me that I was too blunt. He told her "I need more hand holding than that!" At least I can say that the hand would stay warm on my watch. I am sad that such a bright star no longer shines. RIP Tina, love you. Yes, you really were "Simply the Best"! I can only hope that others will learn from your passing.
