The Glorious Ruth Bader GInsburg (RBG)

I am in awe of Ruth Bader Ginsburg what a marvel and what a wonderful symbol of anti-aging.
Despite our present grief I don’t think her loss is going to be truly felt right now, decades later we will totally appreciate the work that this iconic woman did.
I hope you will read this email slowly so that the amazing life of this beloved Justice can really sink in.
Many others, better versed than I, have written about her legal contributions, I would like to throw some light from a health perspective.

Let’s start with this: She was 60 when she was appointed to the Supreme Court which means that most of her mammoth work was done as a senior. Awesome.

From a medical perspective she was also a giant.
She was also the epitome of anti-aging and here is why:
Anti-aging is defined as using the information of science, technology and research  to extend life span, maintain health and improve quality of life. In fact it is pretty revolutionary stuff!  Very fitting of a person of Justice Bader Ginsburg’s stature. (How is your anti-aging program coming along? see below).
A short overview of what is publicly known of her larger medical history:
5 or more courses of treatment for various cancers starting in 1999 including colon, lung, liver and pancreas. The latter was diagnosed a year ago and is well known to be one of the cancers with the worst prognosis. She slayed all these cancers over a 21 year span!
At least 2 episodes of multiple cracked ribs (weakened by osteoporosis and cancer treatment). Stents in her heart and gallbladder. Arthritis of the spine which made it hard to turn her head. Yet despite all this she never showed signs of the chronic pain she must always have been in.  She had scores of surgeries and treatments enough to break many a person. Yet she soldiered on and never missed work.

In addition to all her physical ailments what strength of mind she showed. From the time she had to miss her high school graduation because her mother died the night before, to the loss of her husband shortly after their 56th wedding anniversary. Her mission clearly gave her purpose. (How do you graduate at the top of the class in an Ivy league law school and still have to beg for a job because you are a woman?).

What does Justice Ginsberg have to do with anti-aging?
Well for starters, she had the foresight to use the latest science and technology to maintain her life as long as possible. She worked out 5 days a week when she could and did push ups, planks and weights and never used her state of health or age as an excuse to curl up on the couch. She had such superior intellect, worked until she died and died in her right mind. No sign of dementia in spite of all she went through! She was a role model in so many ways.
I wish we could all have the fortitude as well as the heart and humanity of the Glorious RBG. Your Honor is worthy of Honor!
May she Rest In Peace.

The goal of an Anti-aging program is to control the visible and invisible signs of aging to help patients live longer and invigorated lives. Make sure you can keep doing whatever it is you want to do for as long as you choose to do it!
